Turmeric Chai Tea Recipe

This tea is easy to make and gives your immune system a boost.  



Serves: 2

Prep time: 20 minutes


  • 2 Cups plant based milk of your choice (i.e. hemp, coconut, rice, almond)
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut butter or coconut oil
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 4 Whole cloves
  • 3 Green cardamom pods, cracked
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons turmeric
  • 1-4 Tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • dash of black pepper


Heat all ingredients in a small pot over medium until simmering. Then lower heat, cover, and let steep 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Perfect bedtime tea in a cozy mug.
